About the hall

Bedwyn Village Hall is a purpose built hall located in a quiet corner of the village adjoining the cricket field and close to the Kennet and Avon canal, and the railway station. It has ample car parking, and can cater for up to 120 people, with kitchen facilities.

It is constructed on a single floor giving easy access throughout including accessible toilet facilities. The main floor area is 14 metres long and 9 metres wide. (126 sq Metres)

There is a curtained stage at one end with lighting, and dressing room facilities behind.

The hall also benefits from a ceiling mounted video projector, a retractable 4-metre-wide screen at the front of the stage, and an an integrated sound system and a public announcement facility. The system can be connected via Bluetooth and wi-fi is available.

A large glitter ball can also be hired for evening parties.

It is a charitable trust, whose aim is to provide an affordable venue which benefits all groups within the wider local community. Our charges are among the lowest in the area.

It is used for local society, business, educational and Parish Council and Women’s Institute meetings.

• Zumba class

• NEW Bridge and Mahjong evenings

• History Society evenings
• Argentinian Tango group
• Yoga, and Qigong, classes

• Monthly Quiz evenings and Cinema showings

• A performing and pantomime society


Private functions – receptions, birthday parties, christenings and family gatherings of all types

The Legion Room is a further multi-purpose room with a flat screen which can be used for presentations, meetings or smaller parties.

Dimensions approx. 9.5m x 5m

It is separate from the main hall.
